Welcome to Dry Cabin Creek Ranch in the beautiful foothills of the Black Hills of Northeast Wyoming. We have ranched and raised Quarter Horses most all of our life with emphasis on cutting bred horses and ranch type horses.

Just recently we acquired a complete dispersal of 49 horses from Kansas. These horses come from a deep foundation gene pool of King Ranch bloodlines. We also acquired an excellent history on the old pedigrees of these horses. These horses are  the King Ranch sorrel with some chestnuts . We are offering some of these horses for sale. The horses have tremendous bone and feet, excellent disposition, great cow sense and athletic ability. These horses will make excellent rope horses, cutting horses, snaffle bit horses, ranch horse competition, versatility ranch horse competition, team penning, good ranch horses or brood mares. We have researched the old King Ranch foundation bloodlines and there aren't very many of them left. 

We are having a Silent Auction Horse Sale, April 27, 2008 here at the ranch.  This sale will feature 40 head of stallions, geldings, mares, and young stock.  A low minimum bid will be placed on each horse.  DV Auction.com will be hosting our preview and sale beginning at 11:00.  A free barbeque will be served at high noon and the sale will begin closing at 1:00.  A cowboy auction will close each lot.  Plan to attend our sale.  If you cannot, live bidding will be available on dvauction.com.  Please register on or before April 22.  If you have any questions regarding our horses, please give us a call or email.
